I felt perfectly fine this morning, but later I got a headache, chills, muscle aches, and started coughing up icky stuff. When I was a little girl, my Grandma used to make me a hot honey and lemon drink when I was sick, so my mom decided to veganize it with my vegan honee. It only requires three ingredients:
Add the lemon juice and vegan honee to the water, and mix together until the honee dissolves. (Add the optional tiny pinch of salt too if you are using it.)
Pour half of the mixture into a mug and heat in the microwave until it is as hot as you want it:
Add more lemon and/or honee, according to your taste:
Get back in bed, sip slowly, and feel better! (I got up just to take the photos on this batch, but my mom made it for me!)

- 80 g (1/3 c) Lemon Juice

This sounds so good! But what is Honee? As I have never heard of it 🙂
